Westwing expands its customer experience with ‘Westwing Design Service’
Munich, 6th October 2022. Since 2018, the in-house interior design service ‘Westwing Design Service’ has expanded its customer experience at Westwing, the market leader in inspiration-based home & living eCommerce in Europe. The design experts offer advice on room concepts and interior design questions.
Holistic consultation
Westwing Design Service was founded in-house in 2018 as a sub-company by Louisa Haslberger and complements the holistic customer experience at Westwing. In addition to the markets already developed in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, there are plans to expand the service into all countries.
Westwing Design Service has already been used more than 9,500 times and reached break-even as early as 2020.* “Started as a small project, we quickly realized the potential inherent in the personal contact with our customers during the design planning. We first started small with one interior designer, with whom we still work today, and have since built up a team of almost 40 colleagues,”* says Louisa Haslberger, founder and director of Westwing Design Service.
The Westwing Design Service
At Westwing Design Service, customers can book professional advice for the individual furnishing of rooms with three different service packages.
- In the Basic Package, Westwing offers the option of contacting Westwing Design Service by phone. After an individual consultation, the customer receives a customized shopping page with exclusively selected products for the respective living area
- As the most popular package, the Premium Service has been booked over 1000 times in the last few months alone. In addition to the telephone consultation, there is also the option of a personal consultation in selected cities by a Westwing furnishing consultant. The individual shopping page is supplemented by a 3D room concept.
- In the Deluxe package, the expert takes measurements of the premises directly on the customer’s site. In addition to the Premium Service, the design experts present the concept on-site, in the end.
Westwing Design Service not only advises on the selection of furniture - the aim is to suggest inspiration for the entire customer’s home. Therefore, the Westwing interior designers additionally recommend suitable decoration, from wallpaper to flowers, to present a harmonious overall concept.
